How to Clean and Maintain Your Outdoor Furniture

Cleaning Cushions
Spills on your outdoor fabric are easily handled with soapy water; most spills wipe off effortlessly with a cloth or tissue due to the fabric's high resistance. If your set accumulates dirt or mildew after winter, use a high-pressure washer followed by our specially formulated cleaning kit to rejuvenate it. 

Stubborn Stains
For tough stains, create a mixture of 150ml bleach, 40ml mild soap, and 2 liters of water. Apply promptly and rinse thoroughly.

Drying
After cleaning or rainfall, air dry the sofa. Drying time varies based on weather conditions, humidity, and sunlight exposure.

Aluminium Frame Care
Clean aluminium frames with warm soapy water and a sponge. Frames dry within an hour.

Ceramic Tempered Glass Maintenance
Clean glass with warm soapy water, then polish with a separate damp cloth. Allow to dry naturally.

Fire Pit System Care
To ensure longevity:
- Keep exterior surfaces clean with warm soapy water.
- Inspect burners before use for proper function.
- Clear burner and air vents from obstructions.
- Use compressed air to clear away smaller particles.
- Check regulator attachment and condition of hoses.
- Disconnect fire pit from gas bottle when not in use.
- Store glass surround safely when table is not in use.

**Note:** Always wait until the fire pit is fully cooled before storing or covering it.

Maze Quality Guarantee for Your Peace of Mind

Maze, we takes pride in the quality of products, offering varying guarantees to support customers:

- Outdoor Fabric Furniture: 7 years
- Ascot, Oxford, Winchester, & Marina: 3 years
- Pergolas, Porto, Martinique, & Bali: 2 years
- All Other Furniture Sets: 12 months

Guarantees cover structural damage (framework), rust, and fade in the UK. Fire pit systems, flatweave, and accessories (excluding furniture covers) are guaranteed for 12 months. However, the guarantee does not cover glass, fabric, cushion fabric or filling, rattan, or stitching, unless there's a manufacturing defect reported within 48 hours of delivery.

Please note, the guarantee is void under certain conditions, including insufficient or incorrect product maintenance, misuse, tampering by a third party, and more. Additionally, Maze furniture is designed to withstand UK weather conditions and may not be suitable for foreign climates.

The warranty period starts from the date of ordering with Maze and any replacement orders provided do not restart the guarantee period.

In the event of a defect, Maze will repair, replace, or remove part or the entire product as deemed necessary. Refunds for any claim will be a percentage of the original purchase price, depending on the time elapsed since the commencement of the guarantee coverage.

Rest assured, this guarantee is in addition to your legal rights and does not affect them. For more information on your legal rights, consult your local Citizens' Advice Bureau or Trading Standards office.

When you place an order with Alfresco Heat, you'll promptly receive a confirmation email. At this point, we pre-authorise your payment method. We then check the availability of your desired item in our warehouse or with our suppliers. If the item is for Pre-Order with a future delivery date, we will then process the charges to your chosen payment method.If an item is unavailable, we remove the pre-authorisation and notify you via email.

Delivery Process:

We prioritise fast, safe, and reliable delivery methods. After payment processing, we dispatch your items within the specified timeframe mentioned on the product page. A dispatch notification is sent once your item/s leave the warehouse.

Dispatch Methods:

Parcel Delivery:
Smaller products are delivered by parcel couriers. You'll receive an email with the estimated delivery day and a tracking number upon dispatch.

Pallet Delivery:
Larger products are delivered by specialist carriers. They'll contact you to schedule delivery once your order reaches the local depot. Note: Pallet delivery is kerbside; contact us for alternative methods.

Upon Delivery, Follow These Steps:

Unpack the Goods:
Remove items from their packaging.

Inspect for Damages:
Carefully check for damages or shortfalls.

Note Damages/Shortfalls:
If any issues, note them on the delivery form and sign, refusing the goods.

Notify Alfresco Heat:
Report damages/shortfalls within 24 hours via email (sales@alfrescoheat.co.uk) or phone (0333 242 0505). If goods are refused, we'll resend or arrange a full refund.

The courier will wait 15 minutes for your checks if necessary. No claims accepted without a clean signature. All damage/shortfall claims must be made within 24 hours.

Delivery Areas:

We deliver across the UK, with potential additional charges for 'offshore domestic regions' and 'Scottish Highlands': Channel Islands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Scilly Isles, Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands, and Northern Ireland.

 

 

 

At Alfresco Heat we want you to be completely happy with your purchase. We will offer a full refund for any item that has arrived faulty or damaged. Please ensure you inform us within 24 hrs of receipt of your item.

If you've simply had a change of heart, please email info@alfrescoheat.co.uk and we will inform you of the returns address, then post the item back within 14 days of receipt.
